Carin worked in many different roles and industries before pursuing a career in Global Human Resources. After ten years in progressively senior HR roles in chemicals trading and pharmaceuticals she worked as an independent HR consultant in a variety of fast growth industries, amongst which telecommunications. Before her recent return to consultancy she spent six years as VP Human Resources for the international division of KCI, a healthcare company, where she established and managed the HR function for 16 countries to underpin 30% annual growth year over year.
Carin specialises in the creation of learning & development and succession planning strategies, tailored to all levels in the organization and linked to company and customer requirements. She successfully ran executive, leadership, emerging leader, and modular and induction programs and designed and delivered a series of communication programs including body language and cultural diversity as well as HR specific programs in the areas of coaching, mentoring, mediation, counseling, expatriation and advanced recruitment and communication skill programs.
She is a licensed practitioner of many psychometric tools such as MBTI, Firo-B, OPQ as well as other tools in the area of communication, leadership, conflict handling etc.
